  1. If you need black shoes, you should get them. If you can't really afford to or can't for whatever reason, brown or any other (preferably darker than the blue jeans) should work.
  2. Rebounding and about to soon do Joyce Vedral's Fat Burning Workout.
  3. New thread. Please post your workouts here. Everyone welcome. :)
  4. I know that I'm getting a bit boring and I know that I should do more, but really, the only thing that I feel like doing today after spending an hour or so going through Christmas recipes and planning my grocery list, is Classical Stretch. I'll do 3 of them: Muscle Chains Eccentric Strengthening Abdominals I hope that I'm a bit more interesting tomorrow. Lisa, I hope that your son and your husband feel better. :grouphug: Your car also.
  5. Many have already been mentioned. I love Christmas music - just crazy about it. For those who like Chrissie Hynde/The Pretenders - this is not a Christmas carol, but it's about Christmas time - . - Margaret Whiting - Huffington Post had something last year that said this song is about rape. How silly. - Piano Guys. The Christmas Album by The Carpenters. Trans-Siberian Orchestra - this song gives me goosebumps, particularly when Boy George, followed by George Michael (call me biased, but I honestly believe that he has the best voice ever) sing at the beginning. I like the beginning of this song more than the rest of it. I remember when it came out - pure nostalgia. I think they all got together over the course of a weekend and produced this song. They look exhausted and rightly so. Hark the Herald Angels Sing - Mariah Carey - I don't care for Mariah Carey or Celine Dion really, but their Christmas music is superb. Hark the Herald is one of my favorite Christmas songs. - Andy Williams Someone else mentioned Last Christmas by Wham - of course! :D - Bing Crosby & David Bowie Anything by Josh Croban - Sarah McLachlan - not a Christmas song per se, but absolutely beautiful and about Christmas. Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee - Taylor Swift - Jackie Evancho - amazing and she was only 10 when this was recorded. What Child is This - Charlotte Church - I think she was 14. Another amazing voice. Annie Lennox (whose voice I love) is a huge fan of Christmas - . Okay, now I'm really in a very festive mood. Just love this thread. :)
  6. Thank you, and same to you also, Kim. :grouphug: As Mom-Ninja says, we all have those days. :grouphug:
  7. This is me exactly. I also give up on ebooks far more easily. Very interesting. Was this it? Always. That's my rule for every vacation. :)
  8. I read her other book and absolutely loved it. I remember laughing with tears rolling down my face. I need to read this one right away. Love her wit and hilarity. Thank you. I'll look into this and/or others that are recommended. :)
  9. Oh, and I've been noticing a floater from time to time. I've been told to not worry for now, unless I get more and/or if it gets worse or whatever.
  10. Nothing today. There was too much noise nearby all night long (Christmas festivities and endless partying), I didn't sleep well and I don't feel well. I decided to make lemons out of lemonade and do my henna thing . I may do some Classical Stretch later.
  11. I have my eyes checked every two years and also need bifocals. I am nearsighted and have astigmatism. I love picking out new frames every two years and am slowly building up a fun collection. Granted, that some of them have lenses that are no longer up-to-date, but it's okay since my vision doesn't change that much. I wore contacts for many years, but they began to irritate me.
  12. This is a great list. Thank you, Stacia. :) I would do anything for a B&N right now. No libraries and no real bookstores here. When we visit the U.S., we spend tons of time at B&N almost every single evening. Stacia, thanks again! Although I've never read PG Wodehouse, I love Dave Barry. All my family are Calvin & Hobbes fans. We have pretty much all his stuff. Wondering if I'll like PG Wodehouse. I usually love British anything.
  13. Can't yet decide if I feel like doing Joyce Vedral or Classical Stretch. I know that the former is what I should be doing, but the latter is what I would prefer to do.
  14. Thank you again. :grouphug:  I like your rule. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Thank you also.
  15. This looks interesting. The site looks like something I would like to spend time on. Lots of good stuff on the right-hand side bar. Thanks, Stacia. :) I was about to say Pride & Prejudice (which I loved). But having seen some of the replies, I now know the answer, obviously. Loved Jane Eyre as well.
