  1. Not sure on the size of the fitteds. I think she's planning to mail this week sometime, so I'll have a better idea of what I have once they show up :) I checked out that Chinese site and I'm intrigued! Not sure that I do, but definitely something to keep in mind! Well, that would be assuming that I had extra to put away, haha! Seriously, our budget is so tight that there is nothing left to budget after bills. It's ridiculous......that's why it is such a relief to not have to figure out where to pull diaper $$ from! I don't think the actual diapers will be the issue/what I need. I was just trying to get an idea of what I might need in addition. Sounds like a garbage can and wet bag. I will add them to my list of things we still need. :)
  2. You mean we have to wait until morning??? You have 2, right? Just do one now.....(can you feel the peer pressure???) :)
  3. I do have a front loader.....I'm giving it a go anyway :)
  4. I've always used the Clear Blue digitals and never had an issue?!?
  5. I don't know, lol. I haven't received the box from my gifter yet.
  6. I'm so excited....I can't even tell you! I will be using whatever is sent to me from another Hive member....my budget is nil. I will go check out the link....as far as white vinegar, I use a few tablespoons in the "fabric softener" section of my washer with every load anyway (the guy who sold us our washer told us that it would help avoid gunk build up). Will that same method work for diapers?
  7. Perfect......I think I can handle this. I'm actually being given hand me down diapers from another Hive member :) They are fitteds. Last I knew she couldn't find her covers though...... I have little to no $$ to spend, but will find a way to do what I need to do :) Suggestions for brands for wet bags?
  8. In my experience, if it has color, it's +. I usually follow up with a digital to be sure, but... :)
  9. So....I don't know if anybody remembers, but I had expressed interest in cloth diapering, but was scared off by the initial investment of it (I just simply cannot afford it). Anyway, after Bethany's very short lived baby shower thread, I was offered some cloth diapers. WAHOO!! Now, I need to learn. I've read some over at Diaper Swappers, but I think I'm a little dense.....or slow. I'm so overwhelmed with the process. Can you walk me through this? Step by step....like you're talking to a kindergartener, please :) Baby soils diaper (I'm breastfeeding exclusively until prob at least 7m....maybe longer).....now what? What do I need to add to my "to-buy" list to be prepared for this process?
  10. Ugh....what a long road that just never seems to end. I'm so sorry!! :grouphug: :grouphug:
  11. I'm so sorry.....I went through EXACTLY this (time frame and all) back in June. It was heart wrenching.
  12. Honestly, they're probably going to be a little higher than your price range. I'm a Canon girl, so I can't speak for Nikon, but something like THIS would be a good start: People often buy entry level DSLRs and decided to upgrade shortly thereafter, so you might be able to find something used to keep it in your price range.
  13. To add to that, if you want to be able to snap pictures quickly, you're going to have almost no choice but to jump up into an entry level DSLR.
  14. I ordered my diaper bag from there a month or so ago. I had no issues whatsoever. Everything went smoothly and was as expected!
  15. Thanks! I'm actually glad that my kids haven't gotten into it (yet), because I have no $$ to spend right now and it would be hard to pass up good deals :) lol
  16. We haven't ventured into the Playmobil world yet, but I got this in an email today and thought some of you here might be interested. THIS site has discontinued Playmobil items at 40% off right now.
