  1. Well.....she had a hand in the creation of the bad day, so I think she was feeling a bit guilty. I have to give her some props though, because she also bought each of her siblings one too.
  2. It has been a horrible day.....one thing after another. I want to cry, but it wouldn't do any good, so instead I'll sit here, whine to you all.....and eat the candy bar my 12yr old used her own money to buy me. Then, I'll contemplate crying again and probably go to bed.
  3. Ketones can make you vomit too.....they do that to DD.
  4. I will PM you in a little bit. I have a few things I have to get done, but I definitely have some insight!
  5. I don't have to fast thank goodness!! I can't remember of they give it to me cold or not. I've really never had a problem with the test before. Never dreaded it, etc......until now.
  6. Really? I feel like I've only really ever had good luck with Oxyclean when it comes to fresh baby poop stains.
  7. If I was still in that phase, I would definitely be refusing. Thankfully, I'm actually doing much better and will honestly, probably be fine as far as puking/nausea goes. My problem is this horrible reflux (food refluxing, not acid). Carbonated drinks and I do not get along too well right now and between that and the sheer volume in a short time, I'm sure I'll be paying for it all afternoon. Add in my new found fear of needles and sigh......I just don't even want to go.
  8. I had a lot....LOT of bad sticks through the worst of my HG. I was getting IVs every 2-3 days and it was taking 3-4 sticks per IV. Add in a few bad blood draws and needles suddenly make my stomach turn in a way they never did before. This is just the 1hr test. 4th baby. I might just do that.....I'm really doing a LOT better, but it creeps up in strange ways.
  9. Sounds like it to me :) I felt this baby MUCH later than my others. Not really sure why.
  10. ....but....but that would require being b*llsy enough to do that, lol.
  11. Yeah, I remember reading something about it......I doubt my dr would go for it unless I actually puke up the orange drink.
  12. So.....I have my glucose tolerance test on Wednesday. I'm petrified. Scared to death that HG will rear it's ugly head when I have to chug that stuff. I have a hard time with carbonated drinks right now anyway.....but chugging it? Right after lunch? I shudder at the thought.....and I'm sure I will pay for it ALL afternoon. Oh and did I mention that I've NEVER been afraid of needles before being stuck so many times in such a short time and being left with so many bruises? The thought of having my blood drawn makes me want to run and hide. I can do this, right? ::curls up in fetal position as much as my big belly will allow::
  13. Oh Bethany.....my hearts just aches for you. I only wish I had the right words to day.....but there are none. I think of you daily......I wish there was something I could do for you.
  14. I'm so sorry.....I wish I had the right words to say.
  15. Okay....good news is I found the baby clothes today - they're all washed, dried, folded and put into 3 totes (boy, girl, unisex). Bad news? Well....the kids' toy room is a DISASTER from pulling everything out of the storage room trying to FIND the clothes. I have a weird, random assortment of things......and of course have been plagued by the magically appearing yellow stains. That being said, I, at least, feel like I know what I have now.....even if it is random.
  16. OMGosh!! That might be just the one......thank you!
  17. I just can't NOT love a fuzzy, soft, handmade baby blanket/quilt.
  18. This helps a lot, thanks!!! Also very helpful, thank you! OMGoodness....DD6 wants them ALL.....she loves them. How/where do I do that? We did a quick run through at Target and Walmart today with no luck. Even the reg priced Legos were still very picked over :(
  19. In general....are the larger sets or the smaller ones better deals? Or does it really matter? I'm so new to all of this. I don't foresee us having any extra $$ to buy them often, but I'd like to expand our stash as often as I can via birthdays, etc.
  20. Ohhh! Good idea. I was always scared off by the price of Legos.....but I'm realizing now that there aren't many toys out there that appeal to kids from 3yr to 13yr+. I think they'll be a great investment and my kids are SOOOO excited. All we had up to this point was Duplos.
  21. DD6 got THIS for her birthday yesterday.....she's in love! They are our first set of reg sized Legos (boy do I wish I had saved mine from when I was younger). She also has about $40 in birthday money that she would like to spend to expand her new collection. I don't know what to get her?!? Any good deals I should be aware of? Best way to get the most for her $$ since we don't have a lot yet? Thanks (in advance) for the help!!!
  22. Awww.....I wish I had something to suggest. I'll be thinking of you!
