  1. My kid likes baggies of nuts or cheese wrapped in ham. She will also sometimes have a protein shake. Not great but better than nothing. My 9 yo eats a pbj most every morning.
  2. I'm so sorry he and you are having a rougher patch. This may be totally unhelpful but warm oatmeal seems soothing while eating it and after when I have what I assume is a serotonin rush from the ( whole grain ) carbs. I don't know if his tummy tolerates that though. Also for some reason avocados seem soothing. The fats maybe? I'm sending prayers.
  3. I hope you are home now in dry pants eating soup next to your sleeping dh.
  4. I'm a redhead. Novacaine does zip for me. I throw up opiates. I hope I never have serious pain. Naproxen does work better for me than ibuprofen and taken before the pain starts in the first place helps.
  5. No, not tormented by being in His presence. Not being in his presence would be missing out on what I beleive will be ultimate love and acceptance and comfort. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  6. No, I don't go back to sleep. I go to bed about 10 and get up about 4:00 or a little later. I usually lay there until 4:45 or 5:00 when dh gets up for work. I am definitely ready for bed each night but I feel good when I wake up and don't really get too tired until after supper. I guess I'll just put it on ignore for now. Thanks for all the info and links though.
  7. So I've been trying to get 7-8 hours thinking it would help my stress levels. I think it's stressing me out 😬 If I go to bed late, if I go to bed early, if I have morning light, exercise....I just consistently sleep about 6 hours. I just wake up. I don't have a problem falling asleep I just wake up early. Is it possible to be an outlier or am I just so jacked up on modern life my body can't sleep? From what I read people who need less sleep are rare. Should I just bag the whole caring thing and let my body do it's thing! The Hive always knows.
  8. Great lists! Mamabear- you are keeping on and joyfully. I applaud you. I'm stealing ideas but for me Exercise Cooking something special Coffee with a friend Celebrating stupid days. Did you know it's Trivia Day today?
  9. Restart school. Slowly 😀 Bank Pay bills Wrestle insurance Pick up Epiphany gifts Make dinner Possibly declutter
  10. Yay You! I finally figured out I wouldn't go broke or deprive starving children if I just throw treats away. Really. It took me like 50 years to get that.
  11. I'm just a Methodist who believes what I believe but it seems to me hell is just separation from God that you have chosen. If we don't have free will we can't truly love. I believe God know your heart no matter your religion but I also believe God is much bigger than our man made religions.
  12. So far so good for me. Surprisingly I like the stupid habit tracker on my phone. I see the icon every time I look at my phone. It's strange how sometimes weird little things help. I like the idea of the big poster too.
  13. It's always more fun if you can discuss your goals that no one in real life cares about 😋 I hope the cough leaves soon.
  14. Three buildings away! I hope food poisoning never hits the school! If you're sick, you're sick. No law says 30 days has to start on a certain date. I hope you feel better soon.
  15. Your challenge, your rules but I don't think illness or emergency should count. So you skip a day or start a day late. I don't count that as a big deal. After all, it's not a competition or a race. I bet when you learned to walk or write or drive it wasn't a straight line up. I say be kind to yourself ( Not to say two weeks of sleeping in is good. That might show it's the wrong time or the wrong challenge.)
  16. I don't if I'm say mowing the lawn or canning green beans but if I'm going out I feel more together with some cc cream, blush on eyes and cheeks, mascara and lip gloss. It maybe takes me 3 minutes but I feel less matronly with it for n.
  17. Praying for the whole family. :grouphug:
  18. These are all such awesome goals! At this rate I'll have a list of challenges I want to try 3 years long
  19. I do the No S thing. There is an info website http://nosdiet.com
  20. Every one gets to pick what speaks to them. I exercise regularly but let the holidays and life get in the way during Nov&Dec. I'm just trying to help get back into healthy habits. Here's the link to what I posted earlier about challenges vs. resolutions.http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/633358-30-day-challenges-vs-resolutions/?do=findComment&comment=7365626
  21. I'm already 7 days into my challenge but I'm a rule breaker. 😠I'm trying for 30 minutes of activity every day for 30 days. I installed a habit tracker on my phone to keep me well, on track.
  22. List your challenge here. Hopefully on 1/30 I'll remember to bump this up and we'll see how we've done 😀. No rules but your own apply.
  23. Not sure if it's the cheapest but my oldest two use Walmart service. They brought their own cheapest LG phones. $42/mo and they have had no connection problems at all which was their biggest worry.
