  1. I'm trying to balance how hard he's worked with the fact that I am not okay that videos have already been posted with his full name. They aren't necessarily inappropriate, but I also don't want his tween/teen years following him around for the rest of his life.
  2. I believe that her daughter is 13 and two on the younger kids 6 and 3 are also hers. My husband wouldn't go to an event like that without me. I don't think he would be comfortable if three other couples were there and he was flying solo. I also wouldn't want to pay a stranger $20 when I could let my 13 year old babysit in the comfort of our own home, with just her siblings for free. I do not pay for babysitting, it's a privilege of being allowed to stay home alone. My kids do prefer to stay home though so that might have something to do with it.
  3. Sounds like a lot of work for just a few hours, I'd probably skip it. It sounds like you see this group frequently anyways.
  4. We have 4 Macs that the kids have access too. All are laptops with the exception of one Mac Mini. The mini ordinarily resides in my oldest sons room. It does have the parental controls activated, but they aren't working well for us. Yesterday we discovered that he was doing some things online that we would like him not to do. The funny thing is that if he had asked permission it would have been allowed with some supervision. He likes to make videos with his friends and post them on YouTube. In order to do this it requires an email account and YouTube account, both of which we didn't have knowledge of. His group of friends set up the accounts together. The biggest issue is that he lied when I asked him about it. We are okay with some videos as well as email as long as they are monitored. What I really want to do is view all of his key strokes or actions from a different computer so that he can be monitored and kept in check. I have no idea how to do this, but I think it can be done. He was honest when I talked about parental controls and said don't bother I can bypass them anyways. He hasn't done this yet, but said it wasn't difficult. Currently the computer has been removed from his room, but we don't have any space in the common areas where this can be set up on a regular basis. He does need access to the computer for school work. The discipline is being dealt with, but I'm open to any and all recommendations on how to monitor this computer and any others in the house. I think it might also be possible to monitor the wireless, but I'm not sure how.
  5. I think that we're located in the same state. We paid $3000 for stage one braces, and I would expect phase 2 to cost around $6000. Our ortho does offer a deal if you return to him for the second phase of treatment.
  6. Latex caps are horrible. Silicone is definitely the way to go. They won't pull so much if you know how to put them on properly. Maybe there's a video on YouTube?
  7. Looks like it was a negative. Although I still have my doubts. I'm not super regular but 33 days is a pretty long cycle. I'm now in the beginning stages of a very strange AF. I would love another baby, but we're pretty sure that we're suffering from secondary infertility. I'm trying really hard to stick with the attitude if it was meant to be it will be. We married and had kids very young, we've still have a number of years left of potential fertility.
  8. Actually there were three in the package, but I'm trying to rehydrate. We might just have to wait until morning.
  9. Since you're pregnant, I'll take your word for it and try those in the morning.
  10. Husband went and picked up digital tests, but they are the Clear Blue Easy ones. They all have really bad reviews, lots of false positives, do you think we should hunt down different ones?
  11. I have one like that who is almost 8. I actually threw the test away. When I came back to the trash two days later it was positive.
  12. Doesn't it take awhile to get an evap line? This was definitely in less than 10 minutes.
  13. I see it too, but I feel like I'm hallucinating. I'm going to take the second test in a little while. If it's still ambiguous, DH is going out for the digital one. He says it's worth the drive. Did you know there's a place you can post your test online and people can vote on it?
  14. I think I could be okay with either answer. It's the lack of answer that's driving me insane.

  16. Is there a way to link a picture with photobucket? ETA: Think I figured it out.
  17. The store didn't have any digital tests, but I do have a second one.
  18. I'm almost more frustrated about not being able to upload the stupid picture right now. Pregnant or late I'm an absolute basket case right now.
  19. Still can't get the pic to upload. It is definitely a late period. I'm on day 33.
  20. How do I upload a pic? It keeps saying up load failed.
  21. The line is almost impossible to see. Am I imagining it? http://i635.photobucket.com/albums/uu75/lengyelfamily/photo.jpg There's another link further down too.
  22. The counter top canisters do not compost in the house, they're just to collect your food waste. You then have to take it out side to the larger compost pile/bin.
