And the thing that really gets me - religion (or lack of) is a CHOICE. Being gay is NOT a choice. Seems to me that the religious people should be jumping through hoops, not someone living the way god/mother nature made them. -

Treating homosexuals like regular human beings = making things "convenient" for them in your opinion. Wow. How about, instead, people who follow certain religions that discriminate against large groups of people (race, class, sexual orientation, differing religion, lack of religion, etc) choose career paths where they don't have to associate with any of those icky groups?

Defend them in what way? No one here has stated religious people shouldn't believe their beliefs, so what exactly would you be defending? I have seen way more mockery (no, not by the people I "run with" - in the press, online, etc) of the Muslim faith than anything to do with Christianity.

I'm sorry guys but my religion says all cakes AND cupcakes must be a rich, dark chocolate with vanilla frosting. Having it be any other way is forcing me to accept something that I refuse to accept!!
