I thought I found one at walmart.com, but when I went to pick up my tote that I ordered on line, it was black. Come to find out that the clear and black totes have the same isbn number so when you order there is no guarantee it will be clear. kfeusse Posted July 28, 2017 Author Share Posted July 28, 2017 I guess I better explain WHY I need a 50 gallon tote.... my son has hermit crabs....and currently has a 30 gallon tote for them....but he wants to upgrade...and 50 gallons is a good upgrade. Totes work really well for this because they are usually affordable, but more importantly, the lid fits so snuggly that it keeps the heat and humidity inside better than any aquarium lid. And, I saw the offer for 3...but we really don't need 3...and it's too much money to have 2 totes that I can't use....I could probably use them...but I don't need them and can't afford that. I am so frustrated that I can't ask specifically for a clear tote....if Walmart sells them, why can't I ask specifically ask for one??? I have half a mind to order 20 totes and hope that maybe one would be clear...and then I would return the rest...GRRRRR!!!! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They don't list it on their site but they likely know who sells them. The ebay site says they sell individuals, but they are likely going to only be about 15-20 cheaper, Shipping is likely a large part of the price. Hmmm....now I am really frustrated. I am going to try and call Walmart.com and see how far I can get. I can't believe that both a clear and a black tote have the same exact number....if I wanted a solid tote that size and I got a clear one, I would be equally frustrated. if any other ideas come to mind, please share them. thanks.
