C_l_e_0..Q_c
http://www.touteduc.fr/index.php?sv=34&aid=332 All the classes from kindergarten to end of high school will be available (without tutoring) on the web starting June 1st! This would only be for kids who are already at ease with French though, it's not FSL material.
Nan in Mass
Really? Teacher materials and all?
C_l_e_0..Q_c
Looks like it! Just no tutoring at that price. Oh, it's not meant to have teacher material, it's completely self-learning.
Nan in Mass
So... if I can't manage to get the Hachette teacher guides, then this would be a possibility?
C_l_e_0..Q_c
Oh, if I were you, I'd give up on Hachette ! LOL. This is *FREE* and pretty good quality! (Ok, so it's not printed at that price but still..)
Ohdanigirl
I am really curious, how does this program work? Does the student need to have a knowledge of French going in or could a non-French speaker sign up for this program with tutoring and learn that way? I wish I could find something like this in Spanish for my DC's. If you have time to give me a mini-review I would really love it. Thanks. yvonne
Oh my gosh! We _just_ two weeks ago received the materials for CP. :( If only I'd waited a couple of months! Haven't checked the website, yet. I wonder if this means we do not send in the evaluations, etc.? Hm. Now that I think of it, I wonder if it's only free on-line. I wonder if you can still get the Tutor's guide, student workbook, DVD, etc? Have to go look... Thanks for posting, Cleo! yvonne

This program is really meant for French speakers. It's not a French as a Second Language program by any means.

They have audio CD, and the audio files can be accessed online. You get the tutor guides, the workbooks. What you don't get is the tutoring, and evaluations. Ohdanigirl
Thanks for the fast response...I wish I could find something like this in Spanish for my kiddos. I love the concept from what I was able to understand at the web site...French is the next language I want to really pick up...although Potuguise would make more sense since my step mother is Brazilian. So hard to decide. Well thanks again.

C_l_e_0..Q_c
it's not up yet. They're facing some unknown difficulties. A friend got an answer of "possibly september". Someone else got december. And someone else got 'sometimes in 2009-2010" Go figure.
Joan in GE
I'm glad I did not spend any more time trying to find it on their site....Can you please post here when it is up and running? thanks, Joan
Nan in Mass
That's too bad. I'm glad I opted for a hard copy for our first try at the history, then.

Guest Nat
Cleo, are you in Quebec? There's a chance we may move there (my husband is from QC), and I was wondering about the homeschooling over there?

Nan in Mass
Cleo - are all the subjects online? I can't find a 6e history/geography.
C_l_e_0..Q_c
Cleo - are all the subjects online? I can't find a 6e history/geography. No, those are only summer courses. You do not have to catch up a history/geography class if you failed it during the year.

Ailaena
I never told you thank you for this, so thank you!:001_wub: I had been kicking around the idea of a class or two from CNED for this year, but was just too cheap, so perfect timing for us!
