WhitneyS
I'm looking for a science curriculum that is full of science experiments that I can buy a kit for. Right now we're using Apologia's Exploring Creating with Astronomy and frankly we are bored out of our mind. I am looking for a curriculum that is full to the brim with hands on learning. I do not have the margin to think this up my self. I can handle making messes, I can not handle thinking up the experiments and gathering the supplies. I want something open and go, that is very hands on. Doesn't have to be astronomy, as I know the subject matter doesn't lend itself to experiments. happynurse
I used Science in the Beginning last year and purchased the lab kit that goes along with it (Nature's Workshop, I think?). It was very hands on and we enjoyed it.

countrymum
I 3rd Berean Builders science in the beginning has an experiment for each lesson. I'm enjoying it this year. Good science too. Best for 2nd grade + though. It's a bit dense younger than that.

Nm.
For Berean builders- are you reading the stuff that goes with each lesson or paraphrasing? I found the reading really boring. Just curious.
countrymum
I read and sometimes summertime if the book gets wordy. It's short so we're doing fine. He's remembering it.

Clarita
Oh so sorry I didn't see you had to buy 30.
AnneGG
I had planned to use Apologia’s Earth Science but dumped it because I thought it had too many experiments. If you’re sold on Apologia, that one might be an option. There was an activity/experiment for every lesson.
skctgbrlis
Home Science Adventures has enjoyable curriculum packaged as complete kits. It’s not a new program, so it’s not as pretty as some, but the material is excellent! https://www.rainbowresource.com/category/2796/Home-Science-Adventures.html

WhitneyS
Goodness I’m sorry, I didn’t see this prior. We ended up going with Home Science Tools Science Unlocked kits. They are pretty great. The lessons are a good length for us and every single thing you need for experiments/hands on application is in the box.
