Katy
I’m listening to this audiobook by Elizabeth Winkler. I really like it. It reminds me a bit of The Da Vinci Code, with investigations into the past, hidden meanings and information in code, but with real people (1500’s and now) rather than creepy religious cults or current danger. It actually makes me want to read more Shakespeare. I had no idea there’s been a long history of questions about Shakespeare and whether he was the actual author of his writings. It’s quite fascinating.
Rosie_0801
I finally got around to reading Germaine Greer's book on Shakespeare's wife this year and that was quite as much fun as I expected it to be.

Grace Hopper
That sounds good! Sadly my library does not have the audiobook. But I’ll add it to my list.
wintermom
There's a British TV comedy called "Upstart Crow" about how friends, family, wife, historical cercumstances and an arch-rival infludenced Shakespeare to write his plays. It's very funny.
