Toocrazy!! Posted August 27, 2023 Share Posted August 27, 2023 DS21 has kind of decided he has candida. Symptoms are vague other than some white on tongue. And some persistent acne that does seem to be responding to anti fungal treatment. I know nothing about this or why he would have it, other than he used to eat a lot of carbs and sugar. About 6-7 months ago he went on a health kick and started eating a lot better. Maybe it’s a slow die off? Is that possible? Does anyone have experience with this or curing it? Katy Posted August 27, 2023 Share Posted August 27, 2023 White on your tongue can be a sign of some other infection or inflammation. Or it could just be a sign of needing a tongue scraper. At less than $4, I’d have him try a tongue scraper after he flosses, brushes his teeth, and before mouthwash. If it scrapes off it’s just mouth bacteria.
