*****
I would like to make noodles out of zucchini. I took a class on plant based cooking, but didn't take note of the kind of gadget they used. I'd rather spend less than $25 or so and not wanting another large thing to take up space in my cupboards. https://www.amazon.com/Vegetable-Spiralizer-Slicer-Spaghetti-Adjustable/dp/B07RN6CG6X/ref=sr_1_11?crid=2UUECO0CXLSWB&keywords=inspiralizer&qid=1675905822&s=home-garden&sprefix=inspiralizer%2Cgarden%2C189&sr=1-11 Is something like this worth it, or do your wrists get tired of cranking? https://www.amazon.com/Ourokhome-Zucchini-Noodle-Spaghetti-Spiralizer/dp/B07C1J4BWD/ref=sr_1_13_sspa?crid=2UUECO0CXLSWB&keywords=inspiralizer&qid=1675906443&s=home-garden&sprefix=inspiralizer%2Cgarden%2C189&sr=1-13-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzS0dOMkU3WVQ5Mk5JJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDE5NjA0MlZCNUVVNDJZSzM5VyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjA1OTc3Mlo5T1VGRE9VRjRWTiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX210ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= A little bigger, but maybe I would use it more if it is easier? Suggestions for gadgets, recipes, BTDT, etc. are welcome!
prairiewindmomma
Someone gave us one, and we only used it a handful of times. This is the one we had: https://www.amazon.com/Paderno-World-Cuisine-Spiralizer-Counter-Mounted/dp/B00AW3IQMY/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=DHQWDZM8S4K6&keywords=veggie+spiralizer&qid=1675907513&sprefix=veggie+spiral%2Caps%2C159&sr=8-17 It made nice noodles but took up a ton of space in the cabinet and was a PITA to clean. knitgrl
It's more expensive than what you are looking for, but this is what dh got me for my birthday a year or two ago. It is pretty easy to use and clean. https://www.amazon.com/OXO-3-Blade-Tabletop-Spiralizer-StrongHold/dp/B01C2TT2H8/ref=sr_1_1?crid=167W1G8GZGB90&keywords=oxo+good+grips+spiralizer&qid=1675907694&sprefix=oxo+good+grips+spi%2Caps%2C120&sr=8-
Katy
I had a spiralizer and it was lovely… but then I tried Palmini, a canned noodle made from hearts of palm. Now I buy those instead. If you can’t find them in your local market I’ve found if you buy a can from Amazon or Walmart you can take it into a local store and they can usually stock it for me. Selkie
Mine is a Paderno. I looked on Amazon, but the model I have is no longer available (I bought it in 2015 for $33). It is similar to the second link in OP's post.
Beth S
Mine is a Veggetti from Walmart. I like the small size (& cheap price--I know this was cheaper when I bought it a few years ago). https://www.walmart.com/ip/Veggetti-Spiralizer-Spiral-Vegetable-Cutter-Vegetable-Noodle-Maker-As-Seen-On-TV/43174708?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=491&adid=2222222227743174708_117755028669_12420145346&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-294505072980&wl5=9014633&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=43174708&wl13=491&veh=sem_LIA&gclid=CjwKCAiA0JKfBhBIEiwAPhZXDwsnEaLcBJ4InNXf4wO1QYUq4iyyXtutHdt__zyzn3bsuAnYfbuYVRoCaw4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
