Based on Faith Academy
Good evening! I am looking for suggestions of sites that my daughter can use to create a yearbook for the middle and high schoolers in our church. Any suggestions? TIA, Christina
ScoutTN
My daughter’s tutorial (120 kids) makes one through Jostens.
Ellie
I don't recommend this necessarily, but a friend made one using Power Point. o_0

We are actually using Power Point for the first time. She is making a slide show presentation for a STEAM fair.

The tutorial has a yearbook club with an adult advisor (or two) who do the design etc. It’s quite a bit of work. Younger kids learn from the older ones. A senior is the editor. Each family orders for their own students from a link to the tutorial’s account. 120-125 kids. Nice hardback. If you just want a book for an individual student, I’d use Shutterfly or something similar.

Microsoft Publisher, while not as sophisticated as something like InDesign, is less expensive and doesn't have the learning curve InDesign does. My friend laid hers out in landscape instead of portrait. It was kinda funky looking, but she (and the grads) seemed to be happy with it.
alisha
Our small co-op did one through treering. As I didn't have any part in it, I can't comment on the process, but it seemed do-able as the teens were the ones doing most of the work. It turned out great.
