Slache
You know when you own a throw blanket for years and years and it stops smelling like fresh, clean laundry and just smells like blanket? I want to fix that. How can I do that?
HomeAgain
I do a soak. First with vinegar to loosen any mineral deposits and old soap, and then a second with Oxyclean. By the time it hits a regular wash cycle it's back to normal again. It's also how I clean a lot of ds's sports gear. 😄 2
Kanin
This made me laugh. I also have a blanket that smells like blanket. Off to soak!
Dianthus
How do you soak a blanket? I'm thinking of my boys' big fleece throws. They won't fit in a bucket. Do you just do a washing machine soak?

Yes, soak in washing machine if you have a top loader because it is not fun to lift the heavy wet thing in to wash it.
