madteaparty Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 It’s slightly more complicated this year because the exam is changing a bit and the prep books don’t come out until February. The English language itself hasn’t changed that much this year though so I’m wondering what you used that you can recommend. I do have access to the Effinger files. Many thanks! Quote
Momto6inIN Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 My D'S used IEW's AP Lang guide and Barron's test prep book. The last month before the test he was writing a timed essay every few days because timing was where he struggled, not with content. 1 1 Quote
Momto6inIN Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Maybe it was Cliff's Notes year prep book instead of Barron's ... I can't remember for sure 1 Quote
BakersDozen Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Following as my dd is self-studying for this. She's using The Language of Composition which we have found to be fantastic. 1 Quote

We used pieces of it last year and the year before. 1 1 Quote
