My response to being prayerful

I just had to....but I did not actually say it..but..the stop payment on the e-check worked out. And the person in charge of the money for the place with the classes sent me a check for my partial refund. The check was not actually sent until two days after she dumped my child from the class and I stopped payment. Today, I got an email that says I should not cash the check and that would be the wrong thing to do. I sent back an email saying that I did not cash it and had planned to return it to her. But then I added..."I considered saying "I prayed on it and then cashed the check anyway and at peace with this because I was prayerful," but I would never do such a thing because I would never do something bad and excuse it by stating I was prayerful."  I hope she finally understands that it is not okay to hurt other people or do bad things just because she claims to be prayerful, but I think people like her never see the plank in their own eyes. Anyway, this is how the whole thing ended too.

I'm glad to hear it worked out. I would be tempted to cash the check to recover my stop payment fee and then return the balance to them.
