fairfarmhand
These are the tomatoes I bought. Aren't they pretty? https://www.rareseeds.com/vernissage-art-colors-mix/
aggie96
Oh my! Those tomatoes are gorgeous! I'm jealous! We are not traveling this spring, so I intend to throw my energy and money back into the veggie beds. I can't wait! Plus I'm going to add a Mexican Avocado tree and maybe a Granny Smith Apple. I need something to help pollinate the Fuji Apple I've had a couple of years. My lemon and lime trees have finally taken off and started producing, so I am INSPIRED this year. DH and kids teasingly won't let me hit the nurseries alone because I cannot be trusted. I also had a stroke of genius in the shower this morning about where I can throw in some grapes. :)
mom2scouts
My library has a seed library! Experienced gardeners donate seeds, they're packaged, and people can "check them out". I'm not really into gardening and haven't had one for awhle, but I'm tempted to check out a few seed packages this year for container gardening. Farrar
I think it's ok. You have a farm. Aren't you allowed? It's when the person I know who has a yard the size of my tiny living room says this that I get really concerned. 3
MomsintheGarden
Ooh, Baker Creek! Dh and I visited their "Pioneer Village" and met Jere and his girls! We ate in their restaurant while his family was eating lunch there. It was a fun place to visit, and close to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum + 2 of her houses. The Dad's Sunset Tomatoes from Baker Creek are our very favorite. Their taste is incredible. Have fun with your seeds!
Lady Marmalade
The free shipping at BC will be going on all year long! I always justify the seed purchase by saying that my addictive purchases translate to food for the family... I love seeds. They get me through winter.
