Tap
I am making my son a sushi making kit for Christmas. What would you include? I bought The Complete guide to making Sushi/Sashimi cookbook A bamboo rolling mat (I figure he will likely start with roll style sushi ) Soy sauce for sushi Furikaki seasoning (regular and spicy chili for fun) Pickled ginger slices Nori sheets ETA: forgot we also have wasabi $20 for fresh sushi fish or other items for his 1st time preparing his favorite rolls. We already have sushi rice and nice chopsticks Any other ideas to toss in? I forgot to check out the cookbook to see if it has any suggestions before I wrapped it. LOL. I almost unwrapped it but then decided to ask here instead. :0) He loves many types of sushi/sashimi Edited December 24, 2018 by Tap

mom@shiloh
Get a sushi bazooka!!!!! It's amazing and makes sushi making soooo much easier. We got one for my dd two years ago and this year we turned out sushi for 25 people very quickly with it. Skip the mat, get the bazooka.
