Meriwether
I saw a children's book on a book list awhile ago that I thought my SIL would like for my niece. I thought I put it in an Amazon list, but I can't find it. From what I can remember it was about twins, perhaps in Belgium? It seemed like it would have a Milly-Molly-Mandy feel. If that doesn't ring a bell but you know of something else that is similar to Milly-Molly-Mandy, I'd love recommendations.
MercyA
Flicks, Ricka, and Dicka? They are picture books, not chapter books, though,
HollyDay
was it by Lucy Fitch Perkins?
Chris in VA
Betsy-Tacy has that MMM feel. Sweet stories about best friends. The first in the series contains one of the most beautiful passages in all of children's literature, imo. It is the conversation the two friends have after a sibling death. So, not extremely light, but lovely stories, very much thru the eyes of the little girls.
Pickle Dust
HollyDay suggested the book may be by Lucy Finch Perkins. Here is a list of her books. https://www.goodreads.com/author/list/18700.Lucy_Fitch_Perkins She did write a book called The Belgian Twins.
