madteaparty
I’m looking for the online version of a french book dating from 1900. I’ve ordered hard copy but I need ASAP. Is there such a database, either free or for $? Very many thanks.

Joan in GE
What's the name of the book? If its in the library here, maybe I could take pics of the first few pages so you could start reading awhile.
Laetissima
What's the name of the book? Have you checked out the BnF (Bibliothèque nationale) Gallica catalogue? They have a big database of old books. https://gallica.bnf.fr/accueil/en/content/accueil-en?mode=desktop 1

I could not find the specific one I am looking for, but I suspect it's because it was part of some compilation. It arrives tomorrow in any case. It is Contre la justice by Georges Clemenceau. I found bunches of his other writing on the topic though. Thanks so much!
