Sally Day
I’m looking for material for my 10yo to sit and read independently. He’s about halfway through Rosetta Stone. I’m thinking along the lines of J’aime Lire; short stories or easy chapter books. Thanks.
maize
Some PDF picture books here: http://pdfgratuits.blogspot.com/2017/10/13-livres-pour-enfant-gratuits-pdf.html?m=1 Note some are printed in cursive script as is common for books for young children in France.
J-rap
We found some of our best French reading material at (large) university bookstores. They have all levels, and they're often stories (even children's stories) that you already know which have been translated to French, which is helpful. We also got several children's movies that were dubbed in French with French subtitles, which my dd had already seen in English. (I remember The Incredibles being one of them!) This was over 10 years ago, but at the time, we were able to get them cheaply on Amazon (through third parties that sold them used).
