Gobblygook
We've happily used Mystery Science for a couple of years but 2 of my 3 children have now aged out of it. I would love to find something even remotely similar for middle schoolers -- any ideas? Mystery Science is just so easy to implement! Vintage81
We've also been using Mystery Science for the past two years (my DDs are going to be in 3rd and 5th grade next year). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything similar. In my research, I found both Super Charged Science and Exploration Education, which are both video based. Of the two, I was really leaning towards Exploration Education, but I ended up going a completely different route (RSO Chem and Bio 2). We'll see how RSO goes, but I'm keeping Exploration Education in the back of my mind for 4th and 6th grade because it looks really fun (and apparently everything comes with the kit). Sorry I'm not much help, but I thought I'd share what I found. Good luck!
HomeAgain
DS is using Supercharged Science right now thanks to a lovely friend. It is fantastic! Dh and I are considering biting the bullet and purchasing the program for our own house. It's outrageously expensive upfront, but when I look at how much it covers it really breaks down well. HomeAgain
Oops, meant to say that for home, we're continuing with BFSU for now. I really like how the volumes are set up and they are comparable to Mystery Science, and pretty affordable.

MTteacher
Thank you, belatedly! Exploration Education, Generation Genius, and Science Mom all look great and more like what I was looking for.
