Each Sunday is the day to Renew Your Spirit. This is a day to take time for yourself and build YOU up with your favorite things. If you don’t Renew Your Spirit, you can’t renew the spirit of others. Here are some great ideas:

  • A movie at the local theater

  • A walk in the park

  • Curl up with a good book

  • Take a long hot bubble bath

  • Watch a favorite movie

There are so many ways you can Renew Your Spirit. Find some that work for you.

Sunday! We change zones today. I usually don't start zone cleaning until Monday but I needed DH's help with tipping over the sofa and loveseat to vacuum underneath so that's one thing off my checklist already. I can do the rest by myself so I'll divide the chores between 2 days. All I have in this zone is the living room and it's easy to clean.

Morning Routine

Afternoon Routing

Daily:

--Weekly grocery shopping

--Laundry

--Sweep house minus bedrooms

--Hall bathroom tidy

--Sweep deck and front porch

I can't think of anything extra to do today. I am a standstill with the Lego dismantling until ds helps me know what to do next. He wasn't in the mood to do it yesterday. Maybe today.

Dinner: Chicken pot pies

I am focusing on lesson planning today. ODS is getting his grammar but not as well as I would like. I have looked at alternatives and I don't like any of them so I think I need to think of something on my own and see if I could help him a bit, then we can move forward. So far I have spent 2 hours on it and I think I have a plan. Tomorrow is Monday and that means all plans go out the window! LOL

We did make it to church today though. One person asked if we went on vacation. I wish!

Still need to do blessing hour but feeling very optimistic (Flylady wise) for this week. :D Last week of Baby Steps! I think I am going to just do the normal daily threads after this for a while. If you think of something we should focus on, let me know. :)

Hello Fly Friends!  Today was Day 6 Baby Step - Hot Spots:  I spent 2 minutes on a flat surface in my office.  It looks better.  Still a ways to go but if I focus on it I think it will be clear at the end of the week, at the most, and that will be very nice.

It's been a dreary day here in GA - RAIN RAIN RAIN

I hope you guys all had a lovely weekend!

I like Diane in Denmark's idea about placing something pretty on a cleared off hot spot. That way you won't let it get built up again. I would like to do that with my dining table. That's our hot spot. I seem to be taking stuff off it every day but it's never cleared because it's the only working horizontal space in our living space except for the kitchen counters. Right now I"ve got bags of Legos that need to be put in the attic. DH puts the mail on it. I don't understand why he can't toss out the junk mail though. If I don't toss it, it accumulates!

I'm in GA too. We got our shopping done this morning and didn't need to go back out again today. It's just been a slow drizzle, not really what I'd consider to be rain. I prefer rain because I like the sound of it.

It was raining this morning here in New Jersey. We are suppose to get snow on Tuesday and maybe Friday. Friday was weird, it said that it could do nearly anything. So who knows! I want to go grocery shopping that day but we will have to see.

I haven't been really good about setting my timer when it comes to hot spots. That is probably why am not great with them. Need to work on that.

I did go through one of my email accounts and got rid of all my digital clutter!! YAY! Now I have one more to do but it will be far harder. :( I will get there though! I might need to put a timer on it as I have a bit of time since I hope not to have to lesson plan for a couple of weeks. Right now I have 3 weeks ready.
