Runningmom80
We need to get some things that will help us get excited to do morning basket. (At least long enough to get into a routine.)
73349
What do your kids like? Maybe a song to try to learn each week? Start by pulling a card from a game like Family Trivial Pursuit to see whether they know any of the answers? A weekly physical challenge, like balancing on your left foot with hands on hips for 30 seconds? Edited July 13, 2017 by whitehawk

NormaElle
Some of the big hits here are the Bedtime Math app/book, reading a story, working on our Latin/Greek roots interactive notebooks, and listening to a song. I also try to add a picture book and do part of our regular read aloud at the end of morning basket. My kids laugh that half the day is just morning basket; I'm constantly adding new ideas. It's a really nice way to start the day.
Runningmom80
I love the idea of an activity! They love art, music, history and science the most (between the 3 of them) I have the vincent van gogh art book, and a couple of idiom books. TABmom
Mine like flash cards with animals or states or whatever. We do a new one each week, it has facts and stuff on the back- we read it and talk about it and then we review all the cards up to that point. An art print of the week is fun too.

LMD
We like to do drawing in morning time. We are working through a mark Kistler book. I am thinking about doing a graffiti art unit for a change...
