Minerva
My son is almost nine and up until recently had never had a dry night. We tried everything to help him stop, to no avail. About two years ago we bought a bed wetting alarm. It didn't work because the wire that goes from the underwear to the shirt collar bothered him, and he would take his shirt off in the night, pee the bed, and then freak me out because the cable and the shirt were wrapped around him in the morning. My son was becoming increasingly frustrated with the situation. In February, I went to the Bed Wetting store to see if I could find some new solution, and I noticed they had an alarm that is remote, no cable to attach to a shirt. It was expensive, but I bought it. It was the best investment I ever made. First night, horrible alarm. Second night, no alarm (what!?). Third night, alarm. Forth night, no alarm. And after that NO MORE ALARMS. We officially just completed a month of dry bed. Hooray!!!! I tell this story to celebrate and also to offer encouragement to anyone else who has an older (or younger) bed wetter.

amo_mea_filiis.
I was just looking at the Rodger yesterday! My son's on 2 meds, but we (docs and I) don't really have a plan. We've tried the wired alarms, but if they're not placed right, he can pee a lot before they go off. Or he'll get up to pee, and not put it back on and still wake wet. Maybe I'll get the Rodger and wean the meds...
MomsintheGarden
That is fantastic! As a mom of two long-term bedwetters, I can totally relate.
