Vida Winter
Every owee and many imaginary ones, too, all have to have a bandaid. I stopped getting the fun ones, too, these are just the plainest, cheapest ones I can buy! Her poor fingers all have one. A few other places too. She looks so pathetic. LOL, none of my other kids went so overboard this way! By the way, she is four. ~Dana

Guest janainaz
of course. He's almost 4 and his favorite activity is band-aids. He even put them on the dog.
mommytobees
Snicker. My mother sympathizes with you. There isn't a picture of me from the age of 3, where there isn't a bandaid on my chin, elbows, hands, knees, and shins until well into my teen years. I stopped needing bandaids for anything that wasn't bleeding when I was about 5 or 6, but by that time the "damage" was done. Ria
I kept them locked up, and only put them on a child who needed one. They are too expensive to use as toys, imo. Ria
Chris in VA
No blood, no bandaid. Well, most of the time, anyway. My preschoolers recently had a Vet Center in homekeeping--they were rather thrilled when I let them have a whole box to put on the stuffed animals. Hey, good fine motor practice, what?! RoughCollie
For awhile, bandaids were line items in my budget, especially when DD went through that phase.
Mama Bear
using scotch tape and cotton balls or little pieces of toilet paper to make pretend band-aids when my brothers and I were small. :001_smile:
3lilreds in NC
Oh goodness, we were members of the prophylactic bandaid society for a couple of years. I didn't mind.
Mary in NJ
Be thankful that you can fix all the hurts with a bandaid. When the kids get older, you will look back and wish that you could put a bandaid over their hurts and it would make everything better. It is a phase and is quickly gone. I have been there through all five kids. Hang in there!
Starr
My ds used to cover all of his mosquito bites with bandaids. He was so funny looking. Now I walk down the bandaid aisle and reminisce.
