mom31257
Is it possible to still write actual letters to request tourist information? Most of what I'm finding is to just sign up online to receive it. I'm trying to plan a letter writing class and would love the kids to get stuff back in the mail.
Lanny
For TX I do not see a way to do that on this web page: https://www.traveltexas.com/travel-guide Question: Instead of doing that, would you consider having each student send a letter asking for a Pen Pal? I did that, when I was in the 4th or 5th grade. In my case, I sent my letter to the Post Office in a city in Chile. I think I did actually receive a reply! That was for a project in a class I was in at that time.
bettyandbob
Will you have them write their congressman or senator or representative to state government. Congressmen used to have staff who mostly just answered mail.

I don't know if what came up is legit, but I might can check individually with the states they choose.
Amy in NH
Have you considered a flat ranger? The kids write a letter to go with their ranger, and get back a stamped passport book and tourism info about a national park.
