Night Elf
We have the traditional red fuzzy stockings with a white top. I took them out of the box and they are wrinkled and look bad. Can I iron them? I don't want to ruin them but they look weird.
Starr
Steam them? Hang item in the bathroom while the shower is on. Or hold the iron above and push the steam button on the iron. Good luck!
Ravin
Iron them on low temp. Spray them with water from a spray bottle first, and put something thin between them and the iron, like a piece of muslin or a sheet.
Rebel Yell
Try putting them in the dryer with a damp washcloth Remove from dryer while, still hot, flatten and smooth them out... let cool
Happy
I'd be more inclined to run them through the dryer---low heat--- with a couple of damp towels to bang around in there with them. A dryer sheet, too. Good luck!
Night Elf
I like the dryer idea but our names are in glitter glue on the white part of the stocking. Can I still put that in the dryer?

Only if you want glitter on the inside of your dryer. In that case, I'd steam it--hang near a hot shower for a while.

If you go the ironing route, you can just skip doing the white part.
happi duck
Since there's glitter I'd hang them in the bathroom during a shower and then hang them up for display with something stuffed in them in hopes that some weight would help get rid of the wrinkles. Maybe some rolled up kitchen towels to add some weight?

A baggie filled with dried beans :) The kids might worry about Santa's stocking stuffer judgement.
Night Elf
I used the iron on the lowest temp and did it directly on the stocking because going through the thin towel wasn't doing it. The wrinkles are mostly gone. At least they aren't deformed anyway. Thanks!
