LearnFromHome Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 My ds and I have been using Rod & Staff english for a couple of years now...we would like to rest from it and come back to it maybe when his in the 8th grade. Sue G in PA Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 It's a workbook format so a welcomed change of pace from the text format of R&S. Honestly, he hated grammar w/ R&S but now confesses that grammar is his favorite subject b/c of GWG. It is a thorough program like R&S but w/out the writing exercises. Guest Posted February 14, 2008 Share Posted February 14, 2008 I second Growing with Grammar. She plans to release a new grade level each year up to 8th, I believe. If we do take a break can we easily go with Easy Grammar for one year then go back to Rod and Staff the next year?
