jrn
ok loaded question ha ha. But really, what is up with bras squeaking? My daughter loves these bras (thanks all for recommending Nordstroms Natori in a previous thread) but she doesn't like to wear them at school because the wire makes noise when she moves around. Is there anything I can do about that? I follow the directions with washing, air dry, etc. They started squeaking around the 2-3 week mark. Suzanne in ABQ
Honestly? I'd take the bra back to the store. I have worn underwire bras for over 30 years, and I've never had a squeaky one. I would say the bra is defective. If you bought more than one, and they all squeak, take them back and ask to exchange them for a similar model in another brand.
Guest
Some bras do squeak but I haven't had one do it after a good wash and dry. It's something in the treatment of the fabric. Weirdly enough, it could also be a fit issue, if the shape of her breasts is very different than the shape of the wires, some sliding could be occurring as she moves. Guest
I've had squeaking happen when I air dry but not when I dry on the delicate cycle. Something about the fabric getting stiff just hanging there or something.

Guest
What? How odd! I've worn underwires for decades and NEVER had a squeaky bra. Bizarre!
