I had an Amazonbasics one that I liked, but it has died. And it is no longer available. Does anyone have any to suggest?

I have this one, but I only paid 47.00 for it back in 2010. Works great with my Mac mini, but the new price is pretty horrifying!

I don't have a MAC to confirm that it works on a MAC, but the box says that it does.  We have a Samsung "Ultra Thin" DVD Writer.  Portable DVD Writer.  SE-218,   I think I paid about USD$30 including shipping for it, last year.  As I recall, there was a newer model that was a little less money, but the Reviews I read on Amazon for this one were better. According to the label on the back of the box with the bar codes, the Model is "SE-218GN/RSBD.   I've only used it a few times, but there were no issues when I did use it.  On one side the box says "Mac OS X (10.4.6.1),  I don't understand why you would need something special (or expensive) to work with your MAC if it is a USB peripheral.  GL with whatever you buy!

$31   Swap between 4 different Macs, travel with it often.  purchased two years ago and works great.
