Rose in BC
If I wanted to pick R&S up again, would you continue with Grade six (the year we didn't do) or pick up at Grade 7 (the grade my kids are in)? Thanks.
LisaNY
Personally, I would continue with grade 6. There is a rather marked jump between levels 6 & 7.
Rose in BC
Personally, I would continue with grade 6. There is a rather marked jump between levels 6 & 7. I'm having an English Grammar freaking out moment and am going to try and collect myself before deciding. I bought AG last year but keep having nagging thoughts that I should have stuck with R & S. VaKim
I'd definitely agree to do 6. We always use R&S a year behind, or even two, anyway. My oldest is taking a break from it and doing EG, then we will pick back up at 7, and probably not do any further. Maybe 8. Not sure yet. Sandy in Indy
I agree. Pick up 6 rather than 7.

Thanks. My 6th & 8th-ers are doing R & S 6. Don't worry about the number on the front of the book -- but the content, and its appropriateness for your kiddos. Melissa in Australia
I call it level 6 instead of grade 6. the level 7 is really hard ( for me:001_unsure:)
Rose in BC
I ordered Level 6 today and look forward to starting it again. We took a year off from it because I just needed to but the more I thought about it the more I knew I wanted my kids to have some more instruction from this curriculum. (BTW, my sister's kids, enrolled with a public school distant learning program, looked at her copy of R & S English and said it was excellent and that their English program couldn't come close to it.)
