Ethel Mertz
We like the Poetry for Young People series on specific poets. Also, Enrichment Studies has a section on poets.

Soror
My kids are currently in love with the silly poems of Prelutsky. What I recently did was go to the library and checked out several poetry books to see what they liked, they liked of them so much we've now re-checked and had them for a couple of months so a few of those are going on our Christmas lists. I'm making my through the library collection and finding favorites.
