unsinkable
Not a lot of info http://www.cbsnews.com/news/spencer-stone-us-air-force-france-train-attack-repeatedly-stabbed/ What the heck?
Guest
Hopefully it was just a bar fight and nothing more nefarious. I saw this on the feeds. Praying he makes a full recovery!
Seasider
Wow. It will be very interesting to learn more about the perpetrator(s), to see if there's any element of revenge. Prayers for his complete recovery.

I thought a bar fight, too. But, geez...the Oregon shooting happened where Alex Skarlotos attends school.

Seasider
Yikes! And in the world of really weird coincidences.... Paris train attack hero Alex Skarlatos reveals he was enrolled at Umpqua Community College - he was from Roseburg, OR Oooo, now the conspiracy is starting to run deep. Your link to Alex's story has been supplanted by a feature on male manicurists!
Farrar
My first thought was probably really unfair, because that level of no detail is really nothing, but I did wonder if he was trying to be a hero again somehow and stepped into the wrong situation. Jean in Newcastle
I figure it was a bar fight. He's a young guy. He's used to taking decisive action - what can be a great trait when sober isn't always when alcohol is involved.
mathnerd
The description of the event sounded like a bar fight, not a terrorist retaliation to me. But, of course we need to wait for details to be really sure.

Well, when I said bar fight, I thought some Billy Big Balls from Beer started trouble with Spencer, and he had to defend himself.
Murphy101
So weird... It does make a person wonder. I mean, the odds of two of the three train heroes being associated separately in different states with other attacks is rather slim.. About as slim as all those homeopathic type physicians just disappearing.... Normally not a conspiracy person so much as a people suck and do crazy crap kind of cynic, but sometimes I do wonder at how about the likeliness if people who suck conspiring to do crazy crap.
