KYinAZ
Thanks to everyone for the help on math and history! Now a new topic: astronomy I have a 2nd grader super interested in all things dealing with space; also a 6th grader interested in the stars. The only specific astronomy I've seen is Memoria Press. I was looking through forums and came across Apologia Astronomy, of which I know nothing. I will check the site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. HelenNotOfTroy
I have Intellego Unit Studies Astronomy, but I didn't use it. We read Seymour Simon books on different topics, looked at the sky, and meant to go to the planetarium, but haven't made it there yet. This was for 2nd last school year. Mrs. Tharp
Real Science 4 Kids has an astronomy unit. Crash Course Science also covers Astronomy, but it may be too advanced and/or fast paced for your second grader.
woolybear
Spirited Autumn Hope (a spinoff company from Winter Promise) has an astronomy program. I really like the looks of it. However, it isn't cheap. It says it is designed for 9 weeks, but I would take longer with it. Also, it is a PDF program, so if printing is a problem, this might not work for you. http://spiritedautumnhope.com/product/our-solar-system/
