kbpaulie
We are making last minute travel plans. We have 9 & 12 yo boys and 2yo girl. Which of these museums is better - meaning which would work for the older ones if we went to 1?

Rachel
I think the Adventure Science Center in Nashville would be better for older kids, the 2 year old would probably enjoy both equally. It's been about 4 years since we were at the Childrens Museum in Chatanooga though so I'm not certain.
lynn
If you have the science astc passport membership (science museum membership) you can use it in Nashville but the one in Chattanooga is not (was not, years ago) part of the reciprocal program
Dmmetler
Adventure science center in Nashville would work for all ages, but you may need to divide/conquer kids. The Children's Museum in Chattanooga wouldn't have much for a 12 yr old, and possibly not for a 9 yr old. The TN Aquarium in Chattanooga would be a better option-it's less hands-on, but would be interesting for all kids (and is probably my favorite aquarium). The Nashville Zoo is also a nice one for families with fairly young children because it's relatively small, well shaded, and well contained.
