scrapbookbuzz
I'm having difficulty not feeling warm, even with the a/c on. I am 45 but have not hit menopause yet. It's an all over, internal feeling. No other symptoms. Might I be coming down with something?
Pawz4me
Well, you could be coming down with something. Or it could be peri-menopause (the often years long change that leads up to menopause). Menopause is technically when you reach the point of having gone a full year w/o a period. I'm 51, and I can tell you that around 47 my internal thermostat jumped about ten degrees. I've never had a full blown hot flash, but I'm always significantly warmer than I used to be. I went from being cool/cold almost all the time to being warm/hot almost all the time. Scarlett
I giggled. Sorry. Yes you are probably coming down with menopause symptoms.
QueenCat
If you've had the issue for a bit, it's probably the start of menopause. For me, that meant lowering the ac and having the ceiling fan on more often.
scrapbookbuzz
Nope, just today. And giggling is acceptable if it strikes you that way. Don't really have any other symptoms other than no motivation to do anything else.

The hot flashes and over all feeling more warm was not that bad to me compared to the anxiety....
trulycrabby
Did you take your temperature?
zoobie
One of my dear friends feels that way when her thyroid gets whacked. (Hyperthyroid? That always throws me off... I can usually figure it out but I'm deep in newborn sleep hell. I have on pants, which is a victory.)
scrapbookbuzz
I seem to not have much energy either, so I'm chalking it up to possible flu. I will take today "off" and regroup in the morning. Disappointed, though, because I really wanted to go to my writers group tonight!
