HollyDay
A friend is going to Paris for a week and possibly Normandy for a few days. I was invited to go but can't work out the logistics. So, they said to give a list of what gift/souvenir I would like brought back. What should I ask for? I thought about perfume, but I'm wondering about customs and security. Give me some ideas!!!!! Thanks

Spryte
I love our Baccarat crystal. We received ours as a gift. Maybe browse the online catalogue and see if you like it? Unfortunately, I just looked the piece we have and it's a bit pricier than I thought... (Actually, I almost fell over when I saw the price tag on the piece we were brought. Holy cow!) Spryte
Oh! Chocolate. :) You can't go wrong with European chocolate.
Happy
I had a small pewter (?) key chain from Paris that I carried for years. Loved it! I suppose a suitcase full of Le Creuset is not practical....
Susan in TN
I love to get Christmas tree ornaments (or similar, I suppose, if you don't celebrate) from places we visit. Some are quite lovely but not too pricey or difficult to travel with. They don't cause general clutter and are fun to take out every year and reminisce. Arcadia
If it is my family, I'll ask them to help me purchase the Longchamp Eiffel Tower Limited Edition tote especially if they are going shopping anyway. There are VAT refund forms to be filled at the airport for tax refunds.
Guest
When I used to travel internationally, one of my "souvenir" rules was that i could have bought at home. From Paris, I brought home a beautiful tablecloth. I still use it, 25 years later.
