Alicia64
The wildlife extermination people took their traps away today and I think the situation is over. The raccoon never reappeared. They even re baited the traps -- and did a temporary fix under the front porch at one point to see if anyone was coming or going. Nothing moved. He seems to be gone. I felt that if he were a raccoon who was emerging from hiding and hissing at me and the kids, it would be one thing. The poor guy wasn't bothering anybody. I had thought that the landlord would hire someone to move him along -- not euthanize him! I should add we're in a relatively new suburb and back up to an active creek. It's a habitat. And my sons had named him. Rex. Having him euthanized was just too sad for us. Plus we were tracking him around our yard in the snow. Anyway, that's over. On another note: my German shepherd has really stinky movements. Thanks for all your support!!! Alley

MercyA
Yay! :hurray: Thanks for the update. I had prayed for the little guy, and I'm so glad he wasn't trapped and euthanized. Love the name Rex, by the way.
