hsmom
Well I ds 11 started school on the 11th, but I am not planning on starting ds 3 (4 in 5 days) Until the first week of September. I wanted to get in the "grove" with my older one before I started my younger one. Does anyone else do this?
praisefor3
If I didn't make dd17 start when ds10 starts, ds10 would have a cow as to why he had to start earlier. And if ds10 starts before ds3 (4 in September) then she would have a fit as to why she DIDN'T get to start "school." So, alas, we will all be starting on the same day. LoveBaby
Well, we're all starting at the same time, however I'm only doing a couple things each day so we can ease into our full schedule. I don't see us going full speed until the middle of september. I need to see where we need to tweak things for each child *and* get myself used to a more disciplined schedule as well. I don't want to try to go full steam ahead adn then burn us all out right off the bat!
sagira
We're starting ds the day after his birthday, September 3. This way he's five when he starts Kindergarten.
Homeschooling6
I start everyone different. I like to ease into school and nobody cares anyway when they start;) We have actually been schooling through the Summer with a lighter load, but I have been adding more in for my 5th grader and will start adding more for my other kiddos too. Hopefully we'll be in full swing by the end of Sept. Blessings,
runningirl71
I am doing this, sort of. I'm trying to get a schedule down with Daisy before we plunge in and add Buttercup. I have just a little preschool program we will do {B4FIAR} but didn't do much this week. We will get into it more next week. :)
nuttman
I start my 11 year old dd at 8 because she usually works slower. I start her 13 year old brother at 9 and their 7 year old brother at 10. At least, those are my plans since we don't start school until 9/2.
Tree House Academy
My oldest travels to see his dad several times in the summer, so my little one started on July 14th and my oldest didn't start until August 4. :) Hopefully I can start them more "together" next year, but I assume the older will still take longer to finish since he visits his dad.
