momofkhm Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 It was funny. To me anyway. We had met the first day there. We hit it off we were calling each other by first names. She called me Cheryl and I called her Beth. No big deal. A day passes and we start talking about something and I brought this board in an abstract kind of way. "Do you mean the Well Trained Mind?" she asks. Yes. So then we're trying to figure out who each other is on-line. She hasn't been here in so long she doesn't remember her member name. I told her mine and in the middle of trying to describe my avatar she says "Oh! You're CHERYL!" (Funny because she'd been calling me Cheryl for a bit over a day already.) We went to the Maker Faire in Raleigh a few months ago. Ds spotted a kid at the next table and said, "Hey, I know him from NC last month!" I was a bit doubtful, but I told him to go say hi.
