Aludlam
Just planning for my last round of ETC (haven't bought his books yet). I have always cut the binds off and hole punched. This year, I'm trying to keep everything in workbooks. Just easier for me now. Do you find that your littles have difficulty writing in the workbook as is? thanks for answer a silly question! craftyerin
I have never had a kid complain about writing in ETC. We have done the Get Ready, Get Set books, and now I have a one kiddo in book 1 and two kiddos in book 2.
T'smom
They lay pretty flat, my Ker doesn't have any problems.
alisoncooks
I remove the spine on most of our workbooks and have them spiral-bound so they'll lay flat for easy writing... but I've let our ETC workbooks remain as is. My K'er has no problem writing in the A/B/C books and older DD is working through 3 with no problem.
momma aimee
we just finished book 3.5 (and do all the whole numbers, as well as the half) and DS1 has never had an issue -- they lay nicely, imo
Ellie
It isn't only whether or not they lie flat enough. It's what to do with the left-hand page when writing on the right-hand page. I tear out all worksheet pages for all subjects so they lie flat on the writing surface.
twoxcell
They worked just fine for my right handed ds and my left handed dd.
Farrar
Worked fine for my kids, but they don't like that flat, honestly.
