GreenKitty
The kids just brought home a tiny little frog. It is swimming in a fish bowl right now. What do we feed it?
Jean in Newcastle
I know that you can feed tadpoles fish flakes but I'm not sure about an actual frog.
Dayle in Guatemala
If I remember right, you can feed them fish food.
Rhonda in WA
My dd got a little frog and a tadpole with legs from the neighbor boys. They caught them at the lake. We went to the pet store and got food for tadpoles and a small tank. The food was only $3.00. They said the frog would eat the same food as the tadpole. I did not ask about the fish food we already have-because we do have fish also. But I have to tell you they lived 5 days with no food. I know bad me-I kept forgetting to get them food. Lolly
Where did they get the frog? Is it an aquatic frog from a store, or did they find it outside?
2 plus 2
My husband and I have frogs as pets, if you can identify the frog, you can go to http://www.kingsnake.com and look up care sheets. That should help you. Water frogs like bull frogs will sometimes eat fish food, but in my experience, most eat bugs like flies and crickets. We feed our poison dart frogs flightless fruit flies, and our red-eye tree frogs crickets. Hope this helps!
