Beth in SW WA
My little ones love these. My daughter is starting to speak w/ a British accent :)
Geek
It wasn't me, that's for sure. But I love Pooh! We have the entire set, read by Peter Dennis. They are the best and what we "start" our kids on when they first take an interest in books on CD/tape.

BlessedMom
These sound wonderful & this is the first I have heard of them. Can you please tell me more about them & where I might purchase them? Thanks!
3lilreds in NC
It might have been me but probably not since I don't get over here to post much - but I LOVE Pooh on audio! I downloaded mine from Audible.com but you can get the CDs from Amazon here. They are so fun to listen to. I just giggle. I may have to make the kids listen to this again in the car on the way to Michigan. :D
Beth in SW WA
Jim Broadbent reads this version, isbn # 0060582537. Peter Dennis reads this version, isbn # 0786181974. We have downloaded all the stories from StoryNory and all the Beatrix Potter series. My girls also love the Narnia series on audio. What did we do before Ipods?? Malenki
BlessedMom... our library has them and that's where we've checked them out. We love the Broadbent series. Great voices!
autumndivona
Oh, Pooh is splendiferous! The stories - the actual book - are much better than the movie versions, aren't they? We have the complete collection in one big volume, and then a set of 3 audio tapes with 3 books (3 different chapters from the complete tales). I think mine and my son's favorite are "Winnie the Pooh and Some Bees". My favorite part is when Pooh asks Christopher Robin to shoot his gun at the balloon. Christopher Robin fires and Pooh says "Ouch". Then Christopher Robin asks, "Did I miss?" To which Pooh responds: "You didn't exactly miss, but you missed the balloon."
threetreasurs
One of my girls' favorites too many years ago - boy do they change. I miss the pooh years! TTFN:)
praisefor3
I wanted to order these in the past but got stuck on not knowing which version is best. Thoughts???
Snickerdoodle
You can probably hear samples on Audible.com of the different narrators.
Geek
I wanted to order these in the past but got stuck on not knowing which version is best. Thoughts???Peter Dennis, hands down. He makes the characters come alive, brings out the subtle humor, switches quite easily between all the different voices. He's the best. But don't trust my opinion, trust Christopher Robin's opinion. :-D Our collection is older, with 9 cassettes. It is truly unabridged because it has all 20 stories and all the wonderful, funny, silly poetry that A.A. Milne wrote for his son. You can find this version in CD format here. Blackstone Audiobooks presents, from the unabridged collection "A.A. Milne’s Pooh Classics," the ten stories of "Winnie-the-Pooh," performed by Peter Dennis. This is the only reading of these immortal stories authorized by A.A. Mile’s son, Christopher Robin, who wrote, "Peter Dennis has made himself Pooh’s Ambassador Extraordinary and no bear has ever had a more devoted friend. So if you want to meet the real Pooh, the bear I knew, the bear my father wrote about, listen to Peter."
Nestof3
Thanks Natalie. We have the tapes, but they're a pain, and I want to get the CD collection instead.
