Doran Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 A Newborn. Dh and I just took dinner over to friends of ours whose second little girl is just five days old. She was 10 days late arriving and weighed 9lbs. 1oz.. Babies like that are So Big they look like they're ready to start reading Bob Books (I know..I had one of my own!). Stella was was so pink, and round faced, with a dark widow's peak evident on her soft forehead. Tiny petal mouth, indigo eyes, smelling like blue sky and perfection, dew kissed clover and hope. When he gets back it is off to parents, in-laws, and sleeping on the floor at my aunt's house in Belgium. So, not much practice time in there.
