I would like to send my nieces some gift cards to restaurants close to the hospital... Anyone know of any good restaurants close to the hospital? Our Daily Bread Cha Da Thai Dan'l Boone Inn Joy Bistro Mellow Mushroom Paolucci's These are very close to the hospital: Pepper's (Jean Lawson sandwich..Yum!) Makoto's Chick-fil-a Cracker Barrel Peddler Steak House Los Arcoiris They will be able to choose from many excellent restaurants. Holiday Inn Express is very close to the hospital, and is one of the newer hotels. Since they will be there for an extended period of time, they may also want to go to Blowing Rock. The downtown is a great place to walk around. The park is very nice there. There are also several nice restaurants, and Kilwin's for fudge and ice cream. We love Boone and the area and try to get there as often as we can. Dan'l Boone Inn is considered a nice restaurant for the area. Chick - Fil - A (which we patron) is nice, but if you're looking for non-fast food types like that one and Cracker Barrel, try Daniel Boone. Hob Nob Farm Cafe is a little more expensive but great organic, local food that is unique and very tasty. Puerto Nuevo by Banner Elk is good too.
