Danestress
and tell me if you think it would be okay to wear to a country club for dinner with DH's boss and some other folk as well. http://www.whitehous...=&maxPg=5&size= I own it already, so I would love to just wear this and not have to go shopping. My clothing situation is BAD right now, so it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to get an all purpose 'need to look extra nice' outfit. But on the whole, I would rather save the money. Also, do you think I could wear it with my super cool heeled black boots, or would books not be dressy enough? ETA: when I wear it, there isn't as much cleavage showing as in the picture. Lisa in Jax
That's a classic dress that's appropriate for the location and situation. If it makes you feel confident, wear it. :)
AK_Mom4
I think you can totally rock that dress with black boots! Sounds awesome and very appropriate. You can always go shopping for something new, secure in the knowledge that you have a fail-safe option if you don't find what you want.... Seasider
Yes, it's a great dress! I love the style of shoes the model is wearing, but I think boots would be totally appropriate if it's still cold in your neck of the woods.
elegantlion
Dress, yes. I would probably go with black heels though. Depends upon how formal the country club and boss are, you can't go wrong in heels though.

tex-bex
I like it, boots or heels. Maybe a pop of color with an accessory - scarf, necklace, dangly earrings?
Crimson Wife
Depends on the type of country club and your DH's industry. The dress is cute but maybe a bit casual for certain crowds. I would personally wear that out on a "date night" with DH but go with something a bit more conservative & dressier for a dinner at a country club with his boss.
