Classically Minded
I came across the "Lapbooking Through .." e-books by Elemental Science and I'm wondering if they are stand-alone or do you have to have the curriculum to go with them (are they just supplements)? Has anyone ever used any of these? If so, did you like them?
ErinD
I don't know if this is any help, but this is their website page that gives a link: http://www.elementalscience.com/lapbook-index.html
MomToJazmyne
I have the Lapbooking through Plants and while it recommends you have certain books, I am using books from the library that are about the specific topic.

Marie131
They are unit studies not a full curriculum. I just bought the matter lapbooking unit study and printed it out yesterday. I haven't tried it out yet w/ my kids, but this particular study is 4 once a week lessons based on readings from a book, completing the lapbook and doing some hands on activities. I think my kids will enjoy it :)
RootAnn
I am using Lapbooking through Biology as a stand-alone for my dd#2 & dd#3 this year. (I've added other things to it, but it is our spine.) DD#2 loves the animal sections. DD#3 prefers the human body section. We are waiting for plants until spring. skeeterbug
Hadn't seen these before, so glad to see this thread! These will be perfect to change things up a bit here and there. And cheap, too!
momto2Cs
These might make a great addition to our science studies - thanks for the heads-up!
