LifeLovePassion
We are going to have a lunch gathering with my family. What would you serve that is easy/make ahead/crockpot? 6-7 adults and 2 kids.
Joker
I usually make a lasagna the day before (it's easy to double to make sure I have enough) and toss in the oven before the get together with some garlic bread. I'd also add a salad. My next go to food would be chili in the crockpot with cornbread. I'd add a tray of raw veggies and fruit.
Catwoman
I usually make a lasagna the day before (it's easy to double to make sure I have enough) and toss in the oven before the get together with some garlic bread. I'd also add a salad. I second that recommendation! It's an easy meal, but it seems like you went to a lot of trouble to make it. :)
whitestavern
I'd do a beef stew type dish...maybe throw a salad together as well.
Desert Rat
Stew and lasagna are good. It depends on what type of gathering it is. For lunch I would do a pulled pork in the crock pot with crusty rolls, a salad and some fruit. Maybe chips. Or shredded beef.

KatieJ
Baked Ham and homemade Mac n Cheese ( Or cheesy potatos) which you can throw together the day before and just bake it with the ham. Green salad or veggies for a side. Rolls. Dessert.

soonermomma
Creamy Italian Crockpot Chicken. When it's finished cooking shred the chicken and mix in cooked bow tie pasta. It is sooooo good! I'm making it for a birthday party this weekend!
