Several months ago, the admissions director had given him the heads-up that a plan was in the works to start a new Honors Program, but told him that it had not been approved yet, so not to discuss it with anyone (except dh & me) yet. He told ER that when the Honors Program received approval, 'Your name is at the top of the list."
